2015 – The ERA of SMARTPHONE Applications

Life was better in the olden days and it was made much better in the days after that, due to the introduction of various e-commerce portals. People love to share something which they love like taking selfies and sharing it in Whatsapp, Instagram and in social media sites like facebook, twitter. They even share the happiness or their information’s through various apps.

E-commerce sites emerged the “King of Customers “ in the meantime. People were put in their comfort zone where many alternatives were present for them to buy, instead of going to a shop to buy. E-commerce sites made the shopping easier with the “Click of a purchase”. People wanted the easy way to buy things and E-commerce sites were the real savior for their time and wish.

WEBSITES – The initial path to their success

The E-commerce giants used their websites to sell their products and eventually when applications in the smartphones became popular, they were pushed to situation where they should also go by the application way.

So every E-commerce site in a hurry released the mobile apps for various platforms of smartphones to android,iOS,windows,Blackberry and java. Initially the apps were like a pass by to the customers. Later on they became the “Master of the Trade.

APPS – The Master of E-commerce Trade

I will take the example of Myntra.com as my example and proceed with the further argument. You may have a question why I chose Myntra.com. Myntra.com was the first in the industry to introduce the Go by Mobile APP way, recently followed by the Flipkart.

The amusement came when I heard the news first and also the date was near in the future. Myntra.com will go by the App and the mobile site and the website will be closed was a real surprise to many of the users.

The 5 Reasons to go by the APP way and how it will benefit the people:

ON THE GO EXPERIENCE:

Your purchase can be made anywhere with the help of your smartphone and you will be hassle free to use it. You are no longer restricted to use your desktop and laptops to buy the products which you like. While you are travelling if you witness any brands which are new, you can buy it immediately, which is faster in response and I think it’s a advantage too.

PRODUCT SPECIFIC SEARCH:

If you are in state to buy your favorite brand, you can easily buy it with the search option. It saves your time. You may have a question; it will be great to see more number of products in the desktop than in a mobile app. My answer to that will be, you will have the same amount of products to be viewed even in a Mobile APP. So no difference and app makes the life easier, so why not go with that.

GO FOR THE SMARTER ONE (DEVELOPED):

The statistics say that there are more mobile phones in the world, especially smartphones than tooth brush. I would connect it as there are more smartphones than desktops and laptops combined. Also in the user point of view APP going will be easy, because the usage of smartphones have become a mandatory in this era. So, probably why spend some time to switch on the laptop/desktop, waiting for some 3-4 minutes and still wait for the browser to open.

The level of happiness a user gets is fast process with a one touch experience in the smartphones.

STATISTICAL WAY:

In olden days people will boast about the movies and about their promotions. Now the trend has changed a lot and even people are fancy about the minimal posters and teasers before the film gets released. So why not this can’t be applied in the minimal way for mobile apps too. According to the statistics, more traffic was there at the pp rather than the mobile and desktop website. Myntra.com received 80% of their orders from the users in the APPS only during the recent days.

OFFERS:

The last thing would be APP exclusive offers which users get during every weekend of the week. Why buy a product from the website which doesn’t have offer. Go for the APP way when you get benefits out of it.

These are the things which I would like to convey about the APP part. When the Whatsapp was introduced even the inventor wouldn’t have predicted that it may branch out this much and became the most sought one. Let us trust the same happens with the mobile APP segment too. #ItsPersonal

Everything in me will celebrate -Joy & Happiness

The word celebrate would always remind me of the meaning specified in a dictionary which says , it is an ” event of publicly acknowledging some events with a social gathering “. It may even be depicted as a activity based on our wins or due to a religious activity or national holidays. Celebrations were made holiday centric nowadays and that is the truth we should all acknowledge.

When you ask someone , when did your last celebration happened? , they would probably share their last best moments happened due to a victory or a recent achievement. I think Celebrations were always a event of some big achievements and we want to share it with the mass crowds and proclaimed that we have achieved something. But turn the pages of your past , you would have many things to celebrate for ,but hesitated to celebrate that moment of glory because of the fear that the others will never recognisze that as a moment of glory to celebrate.

The maim fear of not celebrating the small things in our life is the fear for others. I would like to share some of the events which I would celebrate on a daily basis ,if I come across those situations in my life , at that point of time.

Events which will make me to celebrate daily

Forgiving others for their activities

When you find that others have made some mistakes , we will either do two things , fight with them or forgive them. In the event of forgiving them we can celebrate. We will loose nothing on forgiving them, rather than gain peace of mind and their love towards us too increases. On self motivating myself When i’m out of mind and in a serious thought of how this day will go ? , Self confidence is the one that keeps everyone motivating to move forward in every state of their life. Why not celebrate that wonderful moment. Let’s celebrate. On helping a human in need Let’s take a situation like this ,you are waiting for a bus to arrive and when some school children are waiting to cross the roads and are standing there due to a heavy traffic. You go and help them to cross the toads. A big achievement it is. So why not celebrate that moment of help you have done for others. So let’s celebrate.

When I keep my promise alive

This is the very toughest moment in everyone’s life. We still try to keep up our words alive but due to some drastic situations we would not be able to do so.Turn the sides , when you keep up the words ,you promised, it is a moment of glory right. So let’s celebrate that. When your plans come alive.

When I help others

We will do a helping process , even once in a day, we don’t remember or we will not think that as a great thing yo celebrate.

When you finish your work

Everyone will find it difficult to finish a day process of work. But in the event of finishing that everyone will have a big relief and they will not think of enjoying that , on the reverse side this will become an enjoyment only if it was a weekend approaching time.

When You receive a message or call from a friend unheard

We will have a friend who will call on a busy day and tell that he was his best friend during childhood and tell all the incidents of occurencs and we will eventually remember that he was the one. It will be a great moment of enjoyment and to celebrate , but usually we dont .

When you bring smile 🙂 on others face

If you tell a joke to somebody and if they smile and you have made the biggest achivement of making someone happy for some raesona for a shorter time. You should be round of that.

Waiting Room – The place of different emotions

The city was burning with flames and there were smokes covering the whole sky and it looked like as if the smoke have devoured the sky. The cry of the soldiers were heard and the sound of the battle still flows into the ears of every human who were residing in the city.

I don’t speak the native language. I only have the adequate knowledge of English and know some other languages like german, and a little french. I know these much languages because , I had been in a terrific situation to learn it , otherwise my day to day activities will not go smooth. Even though English is spoken predominantly in many places , people love to speak their native languages.

It was monday and it doesn’t seems to be like that. The place where we have stayed before were announced as places near war zones , So we were told to evacuate the house and told to go to a safe place. So we came to this place and even here the mess of the war was same and it made no difference between the previous stay and the present.

A commanding voice was heard outside our house with huge shouts. The voice was clear and i thought it should have come nearer. I was alone and I saw my door was beaten with a great force by someone from the outside. I was puzzled whether to open it or leave it unto them by breaking it by their force.

In some moments , I saw my door’s house was smashed into pieces and some soldiers from the army came inside. He was shouting at me in the native language (perhaps). I was unable to grab the content of what hey are saying.

They still were asking something to me and i was still unable to understand it. One of the soldier with a gun pointing towards me cam near me and enquired ” Do you speak English ?”.

I saw in face that he demanded an answer and to that i replied “Yes”.

He was not surprised with what I have told him and he gave me weird look and told another soldier who was standing near him something in Russian. The commando opened fire all over the house. I was still unable to locate the notion of their thoughts , yet i assumed they have decided to kill me.

The commando came near me and asked with his gun on my face , ” Do you wish to live?”. I was frightened some more and thought whatever my answer, they will pierce the bullet through my head. I said ” Yes”.

The soldiers around us laughed on hearing from one the soldiers who translated my speech. When the soldier was ready to fire the gun , he was stopped by the previous soldier who spoke to me. He came near me and shouted ” Are you a doctor ?”.

I was relieved for some moments and thought if my answer was yes or no they are going to kill me. Even though my voice was trembling in fear I shouted ” Yes i’m a doctor”.

He shouted to his fellow soldiers in his native language and I was forcefully caught by some soldiers and was boarded a army vehicle standing in front of house.I saw that the sun was blocked by huge mix of smoke and clouds. The rain started to drizzle, as the army vehicle was heading towards an unknown location.

I was dropped at an army hospital with some soldiers guarding me to the waiting room of the hospital. The scene , I saw there was heart piercing . So many people are waiting to be redeemed of their wounds and bullets. I was still surrounded by armed soldiers and they took me to an medical officer. They left us , because the doctor ordered them to do so. He then came before me and enquired about me and told to assist the doctors there. I went out to the waiting room , where i saw pain and agony in everyone’s face , an entirely different situation which i was seeing these much days. A relief came as i was safe now. The waiting room gave me a different perspective towards it’s meaning

At the doorstep of dreams- I followed my heart not mind

I believe that life is always fun and it is an intoxication and it will surely affect you with lot of fun. Sow the seeds of dreams in the  raw land and reap it whenever you find it the right and have fun. The excitement shall conquer your mind whenever you get a new buzzing gadget in your hands.

Whenever you speak with a lot of passionate young technological people , they share more and enlighten us about those techy gadgets and other stuffs. Everyone in this world have friends and to the ultimate fun , everyone has some besties to share and care. I am no exclusion for it and I have a lot of friends and they care for me and vice versa.

During the sophomore time , we as a team decided to visit everyone’s home and spend a day at everyone’s house. Everyone in the group agreed and the plan was decided. There were around 8 and we had the semester holidays for 22 days and the time was much more than to visit each one individually.

We also came down to a conclusion about the travel plan and the stay at each one’s home. The travel started on a quite saturday , since the travel was long and more days we couldn’t hire a vehicle and moreover bike travel can be very hectic too. So we travelled in the bus to all places.

Every place we went were fun and we spent some really useful time with our friends family. The one place which looked different and amazed was the last journey to my my friend Faizi’s home which is at tuticorin , the edge of Tamilnadu which faces the mighty Bay of Bengal and Indian ocean to it’s close.

I have been to tuticorin before for a marriage with my parents , but haven’t spent time seeing the greatness of the city. My friend Muhammed Faizi was the best geek in our group. I found a different scenario in the city , where the city was so calm and even the speaking language has a different slang.

The two days stay at his home was much fun. Faizi’s grandfather came to me and I introduced myself and all my friends to him and he was very happy to see us all. Then everyone planned to go the beach and I was stopped by Faizi’s grandfather to be at home as everyone was eager to see the mighty sea.

I decided to stay at the house and I bid a goodbye to my friends as they would reach back only after several hours. His grandfather , mother and father were there as it was a holiday. So , again I was puzzled why my friend’s grandfather made me to be at the house.

His grandfather came with a parcel in his hand and we both made a walk to their nearby coconut grove. I was again at a puzzled state , ” To give me this parcel he made me not to go with my friends? “. I was in thoughts which boarded my mind what would be there in the parcel.

We sat down under a tree and he told some stories regarding the grove and other stuffs in that village. I am in a great hurry to know about what is in the parcel. He revealed me the secret that his grandson was tech geek and he came to know from the stuffs that your friends talked with his son, That is Faiz’s father. Faizi’s birthday comes very soon , So i thought of giving him a present , So i brought him this gadget. I was moved by his gesture and thought how each old people love their children. He also told me not to reveal this present to him until his birthday and I assured , I will give it on the day.

The days rolled and we went back to our homes after finishing the great round of trip to all our friends home. Soon the college too reopened for it’s next semester. The amazing thing was Faizi’s birthday fell on the next day. So I called all my friends and took the parcel that Faiz’s grandpa gave me. Everyone was puzzled as I was at that time. They all decided to have his treat in a big restaurant in the city to celebrate the treat. I told them that why can’t we celebrate Faizi’s birthday in a orphanage and why can’t we donate those money which we are going to spend on food and other colourful stuffs for something good.

Some friends were against my thoughts and when most of the friends agreed , they too have no other options and later they realized that the moment they were at the spot will change everyone’s life for a second. I took the amount which was collected to buy a gift for Faizi.

As a surprise we took Faizi and other friends to a orphanage near our locality and spent a real worthy birthday. Everyone applauded me for the good thought and I told them ” I followed my heart and not my mind “.
